1. Where do you find design inspiration?
JP: Everywhere, sometimes it’s the smallest thing that sparks an idea! But most often I get inspired by architecture and fashion.
2. What is some professional advice that helped you navigate your career
JP: Never give up. It’s hard to keep pushing ahead without knowing if success is in your future. But giving up is a sure way to failure.

3. What advice would you give someone who wants to get into your profession?
JP: Get out and meet people in the industry through associations, networking events, and seminars etc. It’s the best way to gain perspective, get advice and feedback, and sometimes make great new friends!

JP: Gratitude is the key to happiness.

Do you have a favorite piece of jewelry?
JP: The Amethyst Oval Cocktail ring – I made this for my Grandmother for her birthday. She loves big, bold and colorful jewelry. At 90 this year she is still stylish and enjoying life to the fullest. I can only hope to be like her when I’m her age!
