Step 1: Concept & Design
Consultation
Every extraordinary piece begins with a conversation.
Your bespoke journey begins with a personal consultation with one of our Design Specialists. Together, we'll explore your vision, inspiration, budget, and timeline, getting to know the story behind the piece you want to create.
Whether you're dreaming up an entirely original design or giving a cherished heirloom new life, this is where we begin turning your ideas into something extraordinary.
Design
From the first spark of inspiration to the first sketch, this is where your vision takes shape.
Following your consultation, our design team will begin translating your ideas into something tangible. You'll receive four unique design concepts, brought to life through hand-rendered sketches that explore the possibilities of your piece.
From there, we'll collaborate with you to refine the details, incorporating your feedback and preferences until we arrive at a final design that feels unmistakably yours.
To begin the sketching and design process, we require a $300 non-refundable design fee, paid in full.
This is where imagination meets artistry, and the piece you've been dreaming of begins to become a reality.
Bespoke Design Options
Full Bespoke Design: Starting at $5,000
A one-of-a-kind piece of fine jewelry designed by Viviana Langhoff, featuring gemstones thoughtfully sourced by Adornment & Theory.
Most bespoke engagement rings range from $5,000–$7,000, depending on gemstone type and size. Matching bespoke wedding bands typically range from $2,500–$5,000.
Bespoke Heirloom Redesign: Starting at $4,000
A new chapter for something deeply meaningful. We'll reimagine your treasured heirloom jewelry or family gemstones into an original design that honors the past while creating something entirely your own.
14k Gold Solitaire Setting: $2,800–$4,000
A beautifully understated setting for a classic-cut gemstone, whether supplied by you or sourced through Adornment & Theory. Pricing does not include the center stone and may fluctuate with current gold prices.
Note: Our bespoke fine jewelry is quoted as a complete piece rather than by individual components. We're always happy to discuss your vision, gemstone options, budget, and timeline during your consultation.
Step 2: Deposit
Once your design is approved, we will require a 50% deposit of the total cost in order to begin the CAD process for your one of a kind ring!
Step 3: CAD Modeling
Once you've selected your favorite hand-rendered sketch and paid your deposit, our CAD (Computer-Aided Design) specialists will bring your vision to life in a detailed digital rendering. You'll receive the rendering for final approval, with two rounds of revisions included. Additional revisions are available for an added fee.
Once your final CAD is approved, we require your balance to be paid in full in order to begin production on your handcrafted piece.
Step 4: Construction
Your piece will be constructed directly based on the computer design and will be hand-finished in precious metal. Every detail is inspected under high-power magnification and laser welders to ensure your piece is seamless.
Step 5: Finishing
Precious stones are set by hand, and you’ll have the option of adding a custom message to be engraved or secret stones to be inlaid. When your piece is polished and perfected, we will call to let you know it is ready for pick up or delivery.
Your fully bespoke Viviana Langhoff piece includes a complimentary ring appraisal.
Note: We are also happy to offer ring appraisal services for jewelry purchased elsewhere. The cost for an appraisal is $250. No appointment is needed for fine jewelry appraisals, we just ask that you bring your piece as well as any certification documents you have with you to the shop and allow for 7–10 days turnaround time.
