Q: Where do you find your style inspiration?
A:When it comes to my style inspiration, I really just love finding one of a kind vintage, yet inexpensive pieces and contribute it to the clothes I already own in my closet. I like wearing clothes with how I feel that day and find inspiration within my own closet. I try to make different outfits with older pieces I own. I also draw a lot of inspiration to the 90s.
Q. How would you describe your personal style?
A. My personal style is very fun and relaxing, I like to just never take it too seriously. I love being vibrant and make sure I have colors.
Q. Who would you say has been your biggest influence- style wise, personally, or professionally?
A. There is no specific person, except I've always looked up to Audrey Hepburn and Natalie Portman when it came to hair influence. I feel my hair is my best accessory as well as for so many other people out there.
Q. What is some professional advice you received that helped you navigate your career?
A. To not give up, no matter how badly you think what you are doing is not worth it.
Q. What advice would you give someone trying to get into your profession?
A. My advice is to use what you already have, don't feel the need to go out and buy the next new sustainable brand. It's better to use up and wear out what you already have in front of you and resist the urge to buy new.
Q. Personal Motto?
A. Never be afraid to stand out and don't give a damn what others think.
Q. Favorite thing to do in Austin?
A. I love hiking and trying the next new food truck, hopefully can do that someday soon.
Q. Favorite Piece of Jewelry?
A. My favorite jewelry pieces or my statement would hoop earrings. Last year my partner got me a beautiful pair of red earrings handmade in Mexico from some lovely ladies on the street and I cherish them to this day. When I have my hair really short, I rely on my earrings to finish off my outfit.
