The Piercing Room offers a glamorous, fun, and safe ear piercing experience. Our piercing jewelry is 100% hypoallergenic, and we have a wide variety of gems for you to choose from.
Appointments are available Fridays and Saturdays on a first come, first serve basis.

We offer Helix piercings (the outer rim of the ear) as well as lobe piercings!
Helix piercings are $50 plus the cost of jewelry.
Lobe piercings are as follows:
-$50 plus the cost of jewelry for a pair
-$30 plus the cost of jewelry for a single
- $100 plus the cost of jewelry for a pair for clients ages 6-12
If you would like more than one piercing, additional piercings are $25 each.
If you purchase jewelry from us, we will switch it out for free. If you bring your own jewelry to swap, there is a $20 changing fee.
Yes! For piercing anyone under the age of 18, we require a parent present at the appointment and proper identification for both the parent and the minor. This includes either a driver’s license, state identification card, birth certificate, or passport. Please keep in mind, the ID’s for parent and minor MUST have matching last names or other info that will legally link guardian to minor. The minimum age requirement is 6 for earlobe and 13 for cartilage.
Not all of our stock is listed online, and you will find more implant grade titanium and solid gold jewelry choices in studio. Email hello@adornmentandtheory.com for requests.
Refunds on services already rendered can not be refunded. Remember, your piercer deserves to be paid for their time!

If there's an issue with purchased jewelry, please reach out! Many pieces have a warranty for loose stones and some repairs.
We do not pierce with any jewelry from outside of our studio. The city of Chicago requires us to provide jewelry for piercings.

All of our jewelry is either 14k gold or medical implant grade titanium. Our jewelry is hypoallergenic and designed to go into the body. There is no nickel or cadmium in our pieces.
We use flat back labrets for all of our earring backs. They are comfortable to sleep in, and help heal more efficiently.
